Here in Idaho after Feb. 1st those 65 and older can get the shot plus I am type 2 diabetic. My Doctor called me up and set up my appointment. I get my second shot next Saturday. I also read some here were having troubles getting vaccinated.
I know there are pro's and con's and for me the bottom line is I don't want to get sick. Denny

I am NOT going to get the vaccine shot because of all the bad side effects you can get, that they are not going to tell you about. Toytraindoc

I had my second shot a week ago. Nothing bad but a sore arm for a few days and maybe a little funky feeling for a day or so.
I'm 69 and have emphysema plus my wife works in the health care field.
I've just seen to much bad stuff that this virus can do to you and don't want to take any chances.

I was also concerned about the untold side effects. Unless there is something long term I feel fine after my first shot. They say the short term side effects are worse after the second shot. They also claim any side effects felt mean the vaccination is working. Den

Not yet. We're supposed to get it pretty soon as culinary workers are considered "Other Essential" 1C Priority. I did get a flu shot and a shingles shot with booster and I did stay at a Holiday Express last night.

Yup, took both of mine. I'm a medical worker and have some health concerns so it was asap for me.
I worried like everyone else about the length of study but we've had endless man hours being poured into this 24/7 for the last year. And on the other worry people have "who knows what they put in it"... im pretty sure if "they" (im guessing they means the government?) Wanted to screw us with untold ingredients and effects there are millions of other easy ways they could do it. I mean they literally control our food, water, medicine.
Anyway, mild side effects. Short headache, weakness, and soreness but other than that I feel great and only lasted 1 day with each shot. Things ain't going back to normal til enough get it, not to mention we're in a race against new variants. Once this evolves we got problems.

I am 68 I have received both of the Covid 19 Vaccinations now one in Jan 21 & one in Feb 21 with no side effects other than a sore arm the next day but that went away in a day. No sickness or illness. Thank You Pfizer & President Trump for fast tracking this Vaccination to the Veterans Hospitals .

Same. I'm praying my vaccinated family members don't get burned for being good little boys and girls.

I’ve had both shots. First was a “piece of cake”, not even a sore arm. The second was not so easy, 24 hr. headache and an achy body. If that’s all I have to endure, it was worth it.

Np problems here in Las Vegas. I got my 2nd shot last Thursday at our local Walgreens. In and out within 30 minutes, including the 15 minute 'observation' period. No side effects except for a little soreness in the arm. I'm 86 years old.

I am in Houston, TX and 74 years old. I don't have anyone to take care of me so I felt I should take it. I had the first shot about three weeks and will take the second one on March 5. They gave me the Pfizer vaccine. They were giving that and the other one that starts with an "M". I didn't get a choice and am not sure how they decided who gets which one. I had to wait 15 minutes after the shot to see if I had any bad effects. The ones who took the "M" shot had to wait 30 minutes after the shot. = Thank you President Trump.

I'm hearing the 1st Moderna vaccine is 93% effective & the 2nd vaccine makes it 94% effective. They're looking at just using the first since the 2nd is usually the one some people have problems with. The first one does most of the work. What I learned: If you get COVID, demand Hydroxychloroquine! It saved my life. 2 doctors left me for dead. A 3rd gave me HCQ & it was miraculous turnaround. HCQ was & is politicized. Most pharmacies refused to fill prescriptions because, Trump recommended it! People died from the politics of this. Doctors were afraid of losing their license so they would not ask for HCQ, including my own doctor & the clinic I got tested at. If you feel COVID symptoms, find a doctor not afraid to get you HCQ. Also take vitamin D3 & keep your blood sugar low. The virus feeds on sugar. It goes after old, fat diabetics such as myself. I'll take the vaccine over the virus but the doc says I'll never need it. Like HIV the virus stays in us so we plan to avoid a relapse but the antibodies also stay in us so we can't catch it again from people. So they say, we're still learning.

I'm 79, got both Moderna shots. 1st was piece of cake, 2nd I felt lousey the next day. To those of you who say you won't get the shots--I think your excuses are just that. You are not only needlessly exposing yourself to a potential nasty disease, but more importantly, selfishly potentially exposing others. Come on and do your part! That's how we beat Polio and several lesser diseases.

I got my second shot yesterday. My shoulder hurts only if I lift my arm up high. The rest of me feels great.
A friend of mine caught Covid and recovered last March. He still has major problems and may never be the same. I'm really glad that to be protected! Den

I got my first dose of Pfizer a week ago so second dose in two weeks and no side effects. My fiancé and her 94 year old mother have each gotten both Moderna vaccine doses. She felt “yuckey “ the next day, but her elderly mother didn’t.

I’ve been taking D3 since surgery to rebuild my left wrist after an auto accident a couple years ago. HQC seems to be effective as a treatment with minimal side effects. A French doctor had great success with it and the Zpack. French president Macron visited his clinic last spring. I’m definitely not a doctor, but some politics seems to be involved. Problems with HQC seems to be that it’s been used for years, is pretty inexpensive, and the wrong person endorsed it. I’ve heard too many interviews with people who were deathly ill and credit HQC for their life to be dismissive of it out of hand

Boooo! I'm with "TTDoc", and gonna wait this one out. I've also read about some of the side effects, and just because some have gotten that shot(s), doesn't mean I should follow suit.
Afterall, when everybody gets the shot and I don't, who will be left to pass along that China virus to me and toytraindoc? Huh, who, huh? 😝
And now, even after you get those shots, "Short Stuff Fauci" still wants people to wear masks. Fool me once..........shame on me, fool me twice............

Maybe you'll catch it from one of the other paranoid denyers.

Or.............maybe NOT! I keep reading about all those once "healthy", and some young, folks who are dying after their second shot. Paranoid........meh. Cautious, much more so. Follow the herd, and do as you're told, you'll be just fine. 💀
What will YOU do if 3 weeks after you get all your shots and still wear your mask, you're walking along and your "keester" falls off? Who you gonna call?
