I had to laugh when I read your post Mitch. I used my "bug rug" until I got my first pocket holster and it didn't do to bad a job. Now the funny part is while my LCP was doing the upgrade shuffle I used the bug rug to carry my 44 special snubbie in my pocket... actually worked pretty darned good...

yeah - right - works fine. ;D I keep looking at these fancy hand tooled and fitted leather holsters, and to some extent even the soft holsters like the nemesis, and it seems to me they are still pretty obviously a gun ...

The padded rug completely hides the outline of the gun.

I carried mine in it for a couple of months until I found a holster I liked. I did hide nicely in dress pants but was just a little to big in my jeans.

I just bought my new LCP on Monday, and it didn't come with a rug. It did have an extra magazine.
