Has anyone tried a "371-" long enough to see if the issues from the first series have been corrected ? Kinda curious as to how the "Post Recall" guns are doing...

Thanks, Pete
I don't know of any 371- series yet in the wild.

371- = 370- + diamond

Workin' on it. Local dealer selling post-recall #370's for $279.00 OTD. Internet prices for these guns are ridiculous, some guys trying to get $50 or more over suggested list. I hate bandito's.....

There's several on Gunbroker right now and also at Guns America.
Wow! You have a good eye. I looked at all the ones on the list and finally spotted 3 with the 371- prefix.

Best laugh. Someone is trying to sell the box for $9.00 + $5.00 s&h. Bragging, no label. Yea, just like the one my recall return came in.

Re: "371-xxx" Guns

My dealer has post-recall #370- guns in stock right now, so that's what's coming home today (too snowy last night LOL). Ruger's been good to me with several repairs in the past so if this one has trouble they'll take care of me I think.

371-xxx guns are in the pipeline. My local dealer got one in yesterday 12-20-08, which I immediately purchased, Ser #371-00xxx. The DOB according to the date on the spent case envelope was 12-11-08. As soon as the weather permits I will be taking it to the range. :)

WOW you could be the first person ever to post a picture of the 371 serial number guns.

Re: "371-xxx" Guns

What I posted in two other threads:

I just walked in the house with my new LCP that I bought at the Academy in Cedar Park (north of Austin).
Serial # 370-68xxx.

The shell casing enevlope says 12/04/08, so can I assume it is one of the modified guns?

Edited to add:

Just found the "diamond" stamp in the slot behind the hammer - had to put on my readin' specs to see it. ;D
